Title & Description Tool: Overview
Even after creating your book, you can still optimize your title and subtitle using the Title Tool.
Whether you already committed to a title or want to brainstorm new ideas, the Title Tool and Description Tool can help you shape the final positioning of your book before writing begins.
Here's how they work.
1. Title Tool
After choosing a title, you will enter the Title Tool. Here, you can refine your title and subtitle using the Writing Assistant.
You can:
- Ask for new title ideas
- Give recommendations and instructions
- Generate variations
- Combine your favorite suggestions
Once you are happy with your title and subtitle, continue to the Description Tool.
2. Description Tool
Once your title is finalized, the next step is creating your book description.
The Description Tool helps you generate compelling copy based on your niche, positioning, strategy, and additional context. If you’ve used previous tools like Niche & Positioning, that context will automatically be taken into account as well.
How to Create Your Description
Provide as much context as possible about your book.
You can include:
- Your main idea or concept
- Special requirements
- Your target audience
- Your unique selling point (USP)
- What makes your book stand out from competitors
- Specific topics or angles you want to avoid
The AI will use this information to generate your description.
How to Optimize Your Description
Once your description is generated, you can refine it before moving on to your outline and manuscript creation. Similar to the Title Tool, you will see your Description Assistant on the right side.
Here you can:
- Regenerate the description
- Prompt specific changes
- Edit details manually
When the Description Assistant suggests changes, you can:
- Approve them
- Reject them
