Expert Collaboration: Overview

Expert Collaboration

How can I invite an expert for collaboration?

You can invite an expert for collaboration through the Expert Collaboration tool in the left main toolbar.

Inside the dashboard, you’ll find an overview of:

  • Your active experts
  • Pending invitations
  • Your connected books

In the Invite Expert section, you can:

  1. Select a book
  2. Assign a role (Editor or Expert)
  3. Enter the expert’s email address
  4. (Optional) Add the expert’s name

After sending the invitation, you’ll also receive a shareable invite link. You can always revisit your pending invitations to:

  • Copy the invite link again
  • Resend the invitation
  • Delete the invitation if needed

Once invited, your expert will receive an email invitation. Alternatively, you can send them the invite link directly.

The invitation will lead them to an activation page where they can either create a new account or sign in with an existing one.

When can I invite an expert for collaboration?

You can invite an expert at any stage after creating a book, whether the project is fully completed or only contains a title.

Which rights does an expert have?

When inviting a collaborator, you can assign one of two roles:

A) Expert

An Expert can actively work on and write the book.

B) Editor

An Editor can provide suggestions and feedback, but cannot directly edit or generate book content.

Before accessing the collaboration workspace, all collaborators must accept an included NDA during account activation.

Important: The Expert Collaboration tool is only available with a Pro subscription
